Business cards have remained an irreplaceable piece of stationery for decades. Creating a good first impression is crucial to a business, and with our wide range of finishing options we can print a high quality business card that makes you stand out from the crowd.

It’s important to consider the look and feel of your business cards to make sure they reflect the image of your company and brand. Whether you’re looking to print onto recycled paper to reflect your green ethos, or would prefer a high quality paper with a soft touch finish to showcase luxury and professionalism, we have a range of options to choose from.

In need of a Bespoke service?

Standard size is 85 x 55mm, but if you would prefer a different size, or a folded card, this is also available.

Do you need a Fast turnaround?

Lead-time for cards depends on the number of versions, total quantity, and if you would like a special finish on them. Please try to allow 2-5 days in most cases, but anything outside of this please highlight from the outset and we will do our best to meet your deadlines.

Paper

We stock a range of papers for you to choose from, from standard 350gsm to a 450gsm board, single or double sided.

Sizes

Standard size is 85 x 55mm, but if you would prefer a different size, or a folded card, this is also available.

Rounded Corners

Rounded corners are a great way to give a subtle elegant and professional finish to your business card. They are less likely to bend than sharp corners, keeping them looking fresh for longer.

Lamination

Adding lamination to your business cards will enhance their durability and protection as well as giving a professional finish. Lamination is available in matt or gloss.

Soft Touch Lamination

Soft touch lamination will give your business card an extra luxurious feel. The touch feels silky, velvety and smooth and provides a lasting impression.

Recycled

All of our materials are from sustainable sources, eco friendly and recycled materials are encouraged where possible.

Matt Lamination with Spot UV

Spot UV business cards have a thin layer of UV gloss applied on top of the card in selected areas. It adds a contrasting shiny, smooth surface to subtly highlight certain parts of the design.

Foil Blocking

Foil blocking offers a unique and memorable finish. During the process, foil is heat pressed onto mapped out parts of the print to give a metallic finish and highlight chosen parts of the print.

*Same day and express service is available on certain products at an added cost. Please mention this from the outset if required and speak to a member of staff.

Lead Times
  • Same day prints – please call and discuss.
  • Short run digital print products 2 – 5 days.
  • Litho production 5 – 7 days.
Print Management

We offer a print management service where we can print large volumes, deliver a part supply to you, hold stock on site, and the balance to be delivered on call-off. Get in touch for further information.

How to Supply Artwork

When sending artwork for press…

We are happy to accept a variety of file formats. Our inhouse studio has the following software…

Mac:
InDesign CC ‘packaged to include all fonts & images’
Adobe Illustrator CS 5.5
Adobe Photoshop CS 5.5
QuarkXPress 8.5 ‘collect for output, include fonts & images’

PC:
Publisher
Microsoft Word (not for spot colour)

We also accept: PDF/X format (hi resolution) with 3mm bleed & crop marks.
.eps saved with 3mm bleed & crop marks.

Canva:
Custom Document Size Instructions
High Resolution PDF Output Instructions – (Ensure you click PDF PRINT)

Image quality:
All images should be supplied as 300dpi CMYK .j.peg, .tif or .eps.

Things to remember:

  • Make sure all images are hi res CMYK or greyscale.
  • Make sure there is 3mm bleed on images extending beyond the final size of your document.
  • Include all fonts.

  • How long is a quote valid for?

Technically 30 days, but unless we incur increases on materials it will be longer.

  • Do you offer eco friendly or recycled options?

All of our materials are from sustainable sources, eco friendly and recycled materials are encouraged where possible.

  • Can I order a custom shape / size?

Each job is bespoke, we enjoy working closely with you to give you the outcome you are looking for.

  • Are there any minimum / maximum order requirements?

No minimum or maximum, we would explain the most cost effective option for you though, for you to decide.

 

  • Are there any discounts for bulk or repeating orders?

If you order in bulk, you will benefit from a better unit rate.
Some jobs are cheaper when they repeat for certain reasons.

  • What are your payment methods?

Payment can be made via: Bacs Payment, Card Payment *No American Express* or Cash

  •  When must payment be made?

This will vary for many reasons, it will be discussed prior to the order taking place.

  • What is your return or refund policy?

Every job will be looked at individually and an agreement made from both parties, to ensure the best outcome.

Design Service

You don’t have to provide finished artwork for us to handle your print work. Our modern, well-equipped design studio – and experienced creative designers – can produce professional artwork for you.
